DEVOTION ~ THE GREAT DOINGS OF GOD

Theme: The Great Doings of God
Text: Psalm 126:1-3

126 When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. 2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing.
Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”
3 The Lord has done great things for us,
And we are glad.

The most sorrowful moment is being in bondage or captivity. All your will and desires are denied as you're forced to please your taskmaster. Israel experienced the life of liberty and captivity. The return from captivity was like a dream to them because, they can't believe the moments of pain and torture have come to an end. This is how it feels like when you surrender everything to God and watch Him transform your life to the better.

There's an inner peace and joy unspeakable when God takes charge of your life. Your lips will continually sing as a sign of testimony of what the Lord has done. The praise from within is phenomenal and natural, such that, it draws the attention of others. Those who have seen your nothingness will compare your lifting and give praise to God saying, He has done great things in your life.

Dear beloved in the Lord, draw near to the Lord and experience His Supernatural provisions and deliverance in your life. It's impossible to express with words what the Lord has done, can do and will do in your life if you unite with Him in holiness. May Joy unspeakable be your portion even as we commence another week. May your week be fruitful and bondage free in Jesus name. AMEN!

Prayer: The Deliverer of the souls in bondage, take glory honour and adoration. You have loved and cared for my family, friends, nation, church and me with divine mercies. Father, give us each day testimonies that outweigh our expectations and may uncommon favor be our portion even as we draw nearer to You. This I pray in the Mighty name of Jesus the Christ. AMEN!
