DEVOTION ~ HIDDEN IN GOD'S QUIVER

Theme: Hidden in God's Quiver
Text: Isaiah 49:1-2

49 “Listen, O coastlands, to Me,
And take heed, you peoples from afar!
The Lord has called Me from the womb;
From the matrix of My mother He has made mention of My name. 2 And He has made My mouth like a sharp sword; In the shadow of His hand He has hidden Me, and made Me a polished shaft; In His quiver He has hidden Me.”

Identifying ourselves with the Lord should be done publicly for all to know who we are in this world. As light cannot be hidden, so we also cannot hide the faith we profess. The Lord has called us right from the womb of our mothers'. Even before we saw the light of day, God has been faithful to identify us uniquely as His own. There's no soul on earth that's formed in the absence of God. Even the children of the wicked are known to the Lord.

The Lord has called us by name, and given us power to overcome. The power of life and death lies in the tongue, we as children of God have the Word of God on our lips. The Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. This great anointing is upon us so, we speak with authority over our destiny.

Dear beloved in the Lord, in His Hands has He kept and preserved us who are called His own. When we are in God's Hands, He makes us divine instruments for use. God has polished us to make us stand tall in every capacity we serve. In His quiver He had hidden us so he can send us out boldly to quench the works of wicked when need be. Being in the quiver of the Lord, is an opportunity for us to be used to bring solace to the wearied souls of this earth.

Prayer: Thank You God for choosing me as an instrument in Your Hands. I avail myself for duty, use me as You so desire Lord. May the Holy Spirit empower me to accomplish every task to Your glorification in Jesus' name. AMEN!
