DEVOTION ~ THE HOLY MOUNTAIN

Theme: The Holy Mountain 
Text: Isaiah 11:6-9

6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the Lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. 7 The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox. 8 The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den. 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.



After the Lord's judgement of the earth, He will settle His own on His holy mountain. All things will become anew and the law of hostility will be broken. The fear of the prey will be removed as the predator will be friend's with it. Wickedness cannot dwell in God's presence again. What we see happening on the earth; deceit, uncleanness, wickedness, murder, usurping, etc will by no means have its shadow on the holy mountain. 

The holy mountain is a place the Lord will lead His own to so they can be delivered from the pains of the old earth (this current corrupt earth). The earth will be transformed to suit the natural order God intended it to be before our first parents sinned. Humans and animals will dwell in peace without any enmity. God's power will prevail to extinguish the power of the wicked. Evil will not come near the dwelling of God's people on His holy mountain. It shall be a place of total rest from fear, sickness, attacks, death and all the ugly happings on this earth. 

The knowledge of the Lord shall fill the earth. The mind of God's people will be renewed and transformed to have the knowledge of God. Evil intent cannot lay hold of the mind of any creature of the Most High. Dear beloved in the Lord, you must desire to be a partaker of this awesome experience. The fears of witches, tyranny, armed robbers, and the likes shall have no place there. The paradise experience will be full of peace and joy unspeakable. Endure the suffering of this age so that your soul will find satisfying peace on God's holy mountain.



Prayer: As the dear pants for water so my so longs after Thee O God. In Your presence alone will I find safety and not with any other thing. Strengthen me spiritually and physically to be alert of the evil schemes of the devil and his agents that might lead be away from Your Holy presence. I pray to be chosen to join Your holy families on the holy mountain. Thank You Lord for making it possible and for the gift of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name have I prayed. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
