DEVOTION ~ THE WORD BECAME FLESH

Theme: The Word Became Flesh
Text: John 1:14

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Word of God is Jesus Christ who has been in the beginning with the Father. In Him are all things were made either small or great (John 1:1-5). His true identity is seen in Revelations 19:13; He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. The spoken Word of God is truth, the way to the Father and the life everlasting.

God loved us so much, He wants to deliver us from damnation such that, when the fullness of the time had come, He sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law to redeem us (Galatians 4:4). Jesus took the nature of man and walked upon the earth. The celebration of His birth should be done to glorify the Lord. We should extend hands to others in giving cheerfully as God gave Jesus to us.

The glory of the Lord has be revealed for all flesh according to how the mouth of the Lord has spoken it concerning the birth, death, resurrection and ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ. This glory will been seen again on the Day of the Lord. Your soul must be ever ready to receive the Lord when He appears as a Righteous Judge. For without controversy, great is the mystery of His godliness amongst us who fill the earth: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory (1 Timothy 3:16).

Merry Christmas to you and your family. May the essence of Christ's birth be evident in your lives and may His glory overshadow you to bring about your lifting on all sides.

Prayer: The Living Word of God, thank You for all You've given to us. By Your Word, all things are put in order, I speak this Word over every sphere of our lives that needs to transformed. Let Your glory fill our lives even now and forevermore in Jesus name have I asked. AMEN!
