DEVOTION ~ THE EXCEEDING GREATNESS OF GOD'S POWER

Theme: The Exceeding Greatness of God's Power
Text: Ephesians 1:19-23

19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power 20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. 22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

God's power is great (exceedingly great) that no other power can withstand Him. When we believe and trust the Word of God, this exceeding great power flows in us through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit within us. The miracles performed by Jesus, the apostles of old and even in our dispensation show clearly there's nothing impossible with God.

The power of the resurrection rolled away the stone at the entrance of the tomb of Jesus Christ physically for all to see. This power works also spiritually to pull down evil strongholds in any area of our lives. That is why by the power of God, Christ has authority over all principalities, power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. HALLELUJAH!

All things have been put under Christ's feet making Him the Head of all things. As the body of the Church, the power of the head has influence over our lives. We can tap of this exceeding power by the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Christ has given you this power to proclaim His Gospel. In the power of His exceeding greatness, command your testimonies, victories, breakthroughs, and all blessings divine.

Prayer: O God, Your works are exceedingly great and understanding it is too deep for a carnal mind. I pray, by the power of Your greatness to be endowed with strength in the study and meditation of Your Word. Grant unto me the tongue of divine testimonies and power to possess my possessions even now and forevermore in Jesus' name. AMEN!
