DEVOTION ~ THE TIME OF LIFE

Theme: The Time of Life
Text: Genesis 18:10

10 And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.”


King Solomon has stated there's time for everything under the sun (Ecclesiastes 3). This is very true in our lives. God has an appointed time for every event and it is only His will that prevails for no man can contend with Him (Ecclesiastes 6:10b). The Life of the Word of God is the light of men (John 1:4). No man can by himself exist if God does not give him life. So the life of men is enveloped in God's Hands.

The Angel of the Lord told Abraham, He will certainly return according to the time of life. The time of life comes not by might, beauty, possessions, or anything except by the Spirit of the Lord. Your past, present and the future belongs to God. If you understand this, you will surrender it completely to Him. A surrendered life to Christ is a fulfilled life that experiences divine breakthroughs.

With God, all things are possible. He defies the law of nature to establish His own. God will come through for you if you trust Him wholeheartedly. The Angel said to Abraham; Sarah your wife shall have a child. God will make every area of your life fruitful if you have consistent or uninterrupted fellowship with Him. It surely came to pass that Sarah conceived despite her age because the Hand of God was at work in her (Genesis 21). May the Lord break every rule, protocol, order, restriction, and limitation of your life by the power of the Holy Spirit even now and forevermore in Jesus name.



Prayer: O God, You who have the time and seasons in Your Hands, have mercy upon me and change my story for good. I break away from every limitation by the power of the Holy Spirit. I decree divine manifestation of my expectations in life, ministry, family, health, finances, and all areas of my life in Jesus name. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
