DEVOTION ~ FAITH OF THE PATRIARCH - JOSEPH

Theme: Faith of the Patriarch - Joseph
Text: Hebrews 11:22

22 By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.

Faith does the unthinkable and unimaginable, for what is unreasonable to the carnal mind is what faith leads the believer to do. We call forth those things which are not as though they exist. With all his hierarchical position in Egypt, Joseph never limited himself to the grace of God he and his father's household were enjoying in Goshen. His faith is carrying him into the land of promise. So his remaining tent after death must equally be carried into the promised land. (Genesis 50:23&24)

He paved way not of the physical manifestation of the change of location, but speaking prophetically into the Lord's resurrection. Dear beloved in the Lord, a glorious land awaits us after the toils of this earth. What you confess today, is what will speak for you on that Day of rapture. Confess Christ in faith and trust that, you shall be raised to life on the Day of the Lord and even if you're alive to witness that Day, you will not be hindered in entering into God's glory for by the seal of the  covenant you will enter it gracefully. (John 11:25; Revelation 20:11-15).

The instructions of Joseph was carried out to the latter. His bones were carried away the day all Israel left Egypt. Moses was not alive when Joseph gave this instruction but faith speaks when you cannot defend yourself (Genesis 13:19). Make provisions for your salvation in Christ Jesus. It won't cause you a thing, you only need to believe and trust the saving grace of God in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Thank You Lord for the grace of my salvation in Christ Jesus. I surrender completely to Him and ask the covenant seals me and speak on my behalf on the Day of the Lord. May my name be found written in the Book of Life when it is opened. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and personal Saviour. AMEN!
