DEVOTION ~ FAITH TRIUMPHS
Theme: Faith Triumphs
Text: Hebrews 11:27-29
In yesterday's devotion, we learnt that faith permits affliction and Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter when he became of age. Today, we will look at how faith triumphs in every circumstance. Having fled from Egypt and encountering the I AM THAT I AM, Moses returned to Egypt to declare the Word of God to Pharaoh to let His people go. He did not fear in anyway even though Pharaoh threatened him. The invincible God gave him the triumph. (Exodus 5:1-5; 10:28)
The faith in keeping the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood, gave Israel victory over death of the first born. Faith triumphs over death for our Saviour did not remain in the grave, He arose on the third day. We have the overcoming grace through faith. So whatever is dead in your life, speak life over it and by faith, God will grant it life to live through the saving blood of Jesus Christ. (Exodus 12:21-32; John 20)
There are times the enemy tries to find reasons to tell you, your victory will not last for long. Do not accept this rather let faith lead you to declare victory in all things. When Pharaoh and his soldiers thought the end of Israel has come at the Red Sea, faith gave Israel the victory. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned. You can't win without faith that was why the Egyptians got drowned. Faith will make you triumph in all things even now and forevermore in Jesus name. AMEN! (Exodus 14:10-31; Matthew 14:22-33; Jude 5)
Prayer: Dear God, I pray the infill of the Holy Spirit to strengthen me in faith that I will walk in faith in all I do. Faith never fails but gives victory, so I speak victory in all areas of my life as my faith is activated in You O God. Thank You for the triumphant glory on all sides even now and forevermore in Jesus' name. AMEN!
Amen
