DEVOTION ~ NEW CREATION IN CHRIST

Theme: New Creation in Christ 
Text: 2 Corinthians 5:14-17

14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.


Through Adam, sin originated and by the death of Jesus Christ, there's a provision for forgiveness. Therefore, by One Man, this Jesus Christ, who died for all, then all died. It takes a believing heart to tap into this divine knowledge and mystery. For this reason, we no longer live to please ourselves, but to please Him who offered His life as ransom for us all. (Genesis 3; Mark 15:37&38) 

By the resurrection of Christ, a way of salvation has been opened unto us, to enter into His rest. Though we got to know Him according to the flesh (by hearing of the message of the Good News), yet now we know Him thus no longer because the baptism we received is to do away with our evil and carnal conscience leading us into a new transformed live in Christ Jesus. (John 11:25; 1 Peter 3:18-22)

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Our old carnal nature has been done away with, sin has no power over us again because we have been made anew in Christ Jesus. We are no longer regarded as not worthy of God's presence for we have the righteousness of Christ at work in us, thus the Father sees Christ in us not our old nature and the Holy Spirit testifies of our sonship all the time before the Throne of God. Let our new live reflect in all we do. (1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:21)



Prayer: Thank You my Creator and my God, for remoulding me to Your nature. Holy Spirit divine, empower me to walk in this nature faithfully in all I do. This I pray in Christ Jesus my Lord and personal Saviour. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
