DEVOTION ~ STRENGTH IN FAITH

Theme: Strength in Faith 

Text: Hebrews 11:11&12

11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

Our ability to stand firmly and produce effective and efficient results depend on the strength we employ in whatever we do. Sarah had advanced past the years of conception but faith gave her strength to conceive. Dear beloved in the Lord, it doesn't matter how long you've tried your hands at something, if you quit, you will never get the result but if you persist to the end, you will marvel at the result.

In the persistence, you will need a catalyst to drive you forward and to us believers, we call it faith. Our faith is always accompanied with works, and that makes it come alive in us. Faith strengthen us to keep all hopes alive. It makes us see the end glory not the present circumstances. Faith explains why from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. You testimony is next in line.

Brethren in the Lord, what's your judgment about God? Sarah judged God as faithful and she received what she has longed for so many years. Do you also believe in her judgment about God? If you have doubts and fears about God's judgment, invite the Holy Spirit to help you deal with it. Judging God as faithful keeps the strength in faith alive to produce great results.

Prayer: O God of all GRACE, help an unbelieving heart like mine to receive faith. I pray to be strengthen in the faith and to have sound and pleasant judgment that Lord, You are FAITHFUL in Your Kairos (set time) to bring to manifestation all my expectations even now and forevermore in Jesus' name. AMEN!
