DEVOTION ~ IMMEASURABLE BLESSINGS

Theme: Immeasurable Blessings 
Text: Ezra 9:8

8 And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.



It is so great a blessing to be born in this dispensation, as grace abounds unlike the times of old where it was scarce. The presence of grace brings divine changes; it qualifies the unqualified, favours he who does not deserves it, and does the unimaginable. Grace found us when we were lost and same grace gave us sight when the sins of this age plagued it blind from God's love. 

The blessings of God has made it possible for us to escape the penalty of death. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son that whosoever (no exceptions have been given but to all) believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. By this we have access to His holy place as coheirs to Christ Jesus. The blessings of the Lord makes wealth and adds no sorrows. Your inheritance is only secured by the Blood of Jesus, put your hope in Him. 


Prayer: Abba! Father, in Your Hands I trust my life. Lead me by Your Hand and teach me to abide with You in obedience. This I asked with thanksgiving in Christ Jesus my Lord. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
