DEVOTION ~ FAITHFUL SERVANT

Theme: Faithful Servant 
Text: Titus 2:9&10

9 Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, 10 not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.



A servant serves his master in the capacity for which he/she has been acquired. A servant must be humble and faithful to the master. Obedience is needed to show forth oneself distinguished from the others. As a child of God your nature should depict a true servant of God. Paul's admonishing is that, do what is pleasing and never answer back at your master. Usually the act of answering back is disrespectful; you're likely to say things out of proportion either through lies or anger.

Dear beloved in the Lord, pilfering is taking what does not belong to you without permission. It's equal to stealing from your master indirectly or directly without his knowledge. Being faithful, you attract your master and his household to the knowledge of God. They will honour the name of the Lord and surrender to Him by your goods deeds. You're the key to the salvation of your master and his household, so live your life wisely in the Lord.


Prayer: Father in heaven, we bring before your all servants either as maids, male servants, workers from diverse fields, and all who serve. Our prayer is that, they receive the power of God to serve in truthfulness, humility and faithfulness that Your name may be glorified at all times. This we ask for in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN!

    Lord Jesus, cause us to be truthful, faithful and be humble in discharge of our duties as servants in Jesus name, Amen!!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
