DEVOTION ~ HEIRS OF ETERNAL LIFE

Theme: Heirs of Eternal Life 
Text: Titus 3:3-7

3 For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.




We've come this far by grace and not by our own righteousness. We all have a past; pleasant and unpleasant experiences. We have walked the path of evil before the grace of God located us. We ought therefore to look back and be grateful to God through Jesus Christ. His grace upon our lives has given the justification of our sonship thereby making as coheirs with Jesus.

Let us not be cynical to think of us solely possessing that Kingdom but rather reach out to lost souls in the dark just as Christ has reached out to us even in darkness and when the scarlet of sin covered us. Do not close the door behind a perishing soul for God did not shut the door of salvation on you. Just as He welcomed you, do likewise as a heir to welcome others into the Kingdom leading them in the knowledge and fear of God.



Prayer: Abba! Father, thank You for the grace of salvation. I receive utterance, strength and character to lead others to the grace of Your marvelous glory in Jesus' name. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
