DEVOTION ~ WOMEN OF VIRTUE

Theme: Women of Virtue 
Text: Titus 2:3-5

3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.



In yesterday's devotion, we looked at how men ought to conduct themselves in the Lord. Today, we will be looking at the conduct of women which we have themed, women of virtue. Women have great influence both in the home and in the church. It is required of them to live their lives worthy of their calling in the Lord.

The matured women are to be respectful and submissive in nature, flee from lies and gossip, drunkenness should not be a part of their lives, and should teach others to do what is right in words and in deeds. They are are to encourage the young ladies to be homemakers, love their husbands and children, to be discipline, live decently, give honour to their husbands in honour of the Word of God.

Dear beloved ladies in the Lord, let your godly nature be evident for all to see. Your nature shapes the world for both the young and elderly. Do your best to make the world a place of exhibiting the glorious and wondrous power of God not to blasphemed it.



Prayer: Father in heaven, we commit the mind, soul, heart and will of every woman to Your care. Nurture everyone of them in the power of the Holy Spirit that they may transform the world into a better place for Your glory. This we ask in Jesus' name. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
