DEVOTION ~ THE GLORY OF GOD
8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; The glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. 9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, 10 If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday.
In yesterday's devotion, we looked at the rightful way to fast where we learned that, our fasting must be characterized with charitable deeds and love. The result of fasting right is what our concern shall be for today's devotion on the theme, "The glory of God". The glory of God is an awe experience of His greatness and majestic power. A rightful fast causes the divine light in you to shine brightly in every sphere of your life. This light drives away the manipulative works of darkness around you and the awesome glory of God preserves your life from harm.
The preserving glory of God gives speedy healing, helps you attain the righteousness of Christ, makes manifest speddy answers to your prayers, brings about deliverance, breakthroughs, and testimonies beyond your expectations. Dear beloved in the Lord, no one comes under the glory of God and is limited in any way. The glory knows no boundaries or limitations so aim to remain under the glory of God.
Prayer: Glory of the Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent God, fall fresh upon the church, families and upon me. I receive the glory to shine in every area of my life and to attain victory in all that I do even now and forevermore in Jesus' name. AMEN!
