DEVOTION ~ SEEK CHRIST

Theme: Seek Christ
Text: John 7:32-34

32 The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him. 33 Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me. 34 You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come.”

There are still Pharisees in our dispensation that are ready to cease those who proclaim Christ than exalting them. In the days of the Saviour, the Pharisees attempted to cease Jesus for saying He is the Christ. The response Jesus gave should be our watchword as we pilgrim on the earth. We have but few years on this earth so every seconds must count for us.

We need to seek God now before sin blindfolds us. We ought to seek the Lord through His Word by reading and meditating upon it daily. Constant fellowship with the Lord is the key to enter into His Kingdom where God is. How prepared is your heart for the Lord?

Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus Christ, open my eyes to see You. Let my ears be attentive to Your instructions and let my spirit follow the guide and leading of the Holy Spirit in all that I do even now and forevermore. AMEN!
