DEVOTION ~ NO CONDEMNATION

Theme: No Condemnation 
Text: Romans 8:1&2

8 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.



There's a name that condemns likewise is there a name that does not condemn but gives like. Adam brought condemnation on us but Jesus Christ came to redeem us from that condemnation. So if we are in Christ, there's no condemnation to us. It is just not just believing in Christ, but we also do not walk according to the flesh.

The desires of the flesh contradicts that of the Spirit so we cannot be in Christ and still dwell in the flesh. So long as we surrender to Christ, we need to resist the desires of the flesh in order to walk according to the leadings of the Holy Spirit of God. (James 4:7)

Dear beloved in the Lord, the law of the Spirit of Christ is liberty not bondage. It redeems us from the yoke of sin and death to bring us everlasting life. We are no longer slaves to sin, for a better law in Christ Jesus is at work in us both to will and to do the good pleasure of God. (Philippians 2:13)


Prayer: Glory be to Your Name O God for not neglecting us in our sinfulness. Thank You for the grace of life in Christ Jesus. Lead me by the Holy Spirit to walk in purity, righteousness and holiness resisting every form of fleshly desire in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
