DEVOTION ~ IF GOD IS FOR US

Theme: If God is for Us 
Text: Romans 8:31&32

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?



In this journey of life, all that keeps us thinking is security. Once we have a good security, we are at ease to be ourselves. The Christian's security is in God. Knowing that if God is for us; keeps us in His embrace, then we are safe from every form of harm. As we dwell with God, who can be against us? No body is capable of standing up against God for He is mighty in battle.

God did not call us in our perfection but while we were still sinners. He sent Jesus Christ to redeem us through His death but was raised on the third day for our justification. Out of love for us, God did not spare His only Begotten Son. He is also able to give us all things freely. Let us take coverage in the Lord for we are hundred percent guaranteed our safety.


Prayer: Abba! Father, my God mighty in battle I give You praise and honour. As You are for me, I decree I am safe and I lack nothing. I am living a victorious life in all areas of my life and in all that I do in Jesus' name. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
