DEVOTION ~ INSEPARABLE

Theme: Inseparable 
Text: Romans 8:38&39

38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.


In the past few days, we've been looking at how God's love empowers us to triumph every challenge in life. In today's devotion, we will focus on the theme, "Inseparable". Having tasted the love of God and His conquering grace, we can confidently say, nothing can separate us from the love of the Lord.

The Apostle Paul states emphatically that he is persuaded that neither death nor life can bring a division between us and God. The power of death has been extinguished by the power of Christ's resurrection. So death cannot lay hold of us. In Him is the fullness of life. Likewise, no angels nor principalities nor powers can demarcate us from God's love. All angels, principalities and powers are subject to Christ and by no means can they compare themselves to the Lord.

Nothing in nature be it things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. All things are for Him and by Him they exist. Our love with God is inseparable. 


Prayer: Abba! Father, I thank You for the grace of Your glory upon my life. By the seal of Your love O God, I declare I am walking in Your precepts all the days of my life. Nothing can separate me from the love of God even now and forevermore in Jesus' name. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
