DEVOTION ~ MORE THAN CONQUERORS

Theme: More than Conquerors 
Text: Romans 8:37

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.


In yesterday's devotion, we saw how we suffer for the sake of Christ. Yet in all these things, we know that the love of God takes root deeply in us and His stream of living water flows on this root all year. This gives us strength to stand against the odds of life. For Christ has assured us of peace in Him as He has overcome the world. 

We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus if we abide in Him. God has given us the victory through Him. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. By our faith in God, we attain the victory that has overcome the world. God uses us as a symbol of His Majesty to tell the world who He is. Dear beloved in the Lord, we need to stand firmly in the Lord that we can attain victory. Whatever rises against us in life, we have the power to conquer for the conqueror's potency is within us. Declare aloud, I am more than a conqueror.


Prayer: Conqueror of the world, thank You for transforming my weak nature into Your nature. By the power of the conquest in me through Christ Jesus, I declare in the name of Jesus Christ, I conquer every battle of life and whatever stands in my way as hindrance, limitation, or barrier to my prosperity, uncommon blessings, peace, joy unspeakable and abundant glory I scatter by the consuming fire of the Holy Spirit. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
