DEVOTION ~ GOD OF POSSIBILITIES

Theme: God of Possibilities 
Text: Genesis 2:4-6

4 This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, 5 before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; 6 but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.




The earth is filled with layers of rocks and soil. It needs dew or the rain to cool it but in the absence of all these, God cause mist from the earth to water it. God is able to do mighty and great things with us if only we believe. He has the power to determine what ought to exist or not. We need to lay low (humble ourselves before God). 

Dear beloved in the Lord, our God is the God of possibilities. He cannot disappoint us if we follow Him diligently. God will provide for us from the very things that challenges our lives. Do not get discouraged in life but trust God to do what He wills with your life and you'll be amazed at how flourishing your world will become. 


Prayer: Father of all flesh and creation, take glory for the awesome works You have done in the past, doing now, and will do in the future to come. How wonderful are Your doings, may this grace visit every area of my life to transform me for Your glory. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
