DEVOTION ~ SAME MIND IN CHRIST

Theme: Same Mind in Christ 
Text: Philippians 4:2&3

2 I implore Euodia and I implore Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3 And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the Book of Life.



Coexistence is vital in every sphere of life whether in our family, neighborhood, workplaces, schools, fellowships and anywhere humans exist. It is in this regard the Apostle Paul admonished Euodia and Syntyche to be of the same mind. No one is an island, we need each other to survive and to carry on our duties in life.

Dear beloved in the Lord, we are called to ensure unity exist in our homes, communities, fellowships, and wherever we find ourselves. Strive to bring others together than to create confusion, bitterness and hatred among people. As the body of Christ whose names are written in the Book of Life, we need to let love lead in all that we do.



Prayer: Dear God I pray Your mercies to deliver me from evil schemes and let me be filled with the mind of Christ towards everyone. Use me as a vessel to bring peace and unity in my home, community, workplace, church, school, and wherever I find myself in the name of Jesus Christ have I prayed. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
