DEVOTION ~ I AM IS WITH YOU

Text: Jeremiah 1:7&8

7 But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.



In yesterday's devotion we saw how the young Jeremiah said he was only a youth sincerely but it came out of fear. Today's devotion will look at the Lord's response to him. The Lord corrected him and said, "Do not say, ‘I am a youth". Dear beloved in the Lord, do not accept limitations in your life. No matter the challenge you face in life look up to God to deliver you. 

To strengthen the young man, God further gave him encouragement saying, "For you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak". One focus should remain clear in your mind when fear knocks at your door; that's I AM THAT I AM  is with you in all things. The Lord's name Emmanuel (God is with us) also attest to the Word of God. The Word of the Lord to the Apostles is, when they are brought before governors or authorities, they should not think of what to say because the Holy Spirit will do that in their behalf. That is what God means by "Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you".


Prayer: Thank You Lord that You are always with me. Blessed be Your Name for the ever presence of the Holy Spirit in all areas of my life. I trust my entire life to Your care and I pray my faith shall increase daily in all that I do. This I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
