CHARACTER STUDY ~ ADAM

The name Adam is a Hebrew name meaning "son of the red earth". He was the first to be created by God from the dust of the earth and was given the right to have dominion over every other creature. He was the one that named all the animals the Lord God had created and was the first to be given instruction. He was without a helpmate until the Lord put him to sleep and took off his rib and enclosed it with his skin to form his suitable companion whom he named Eve. 

Some characteristics of Adam:
*He was not born but created
*He was good at his work; he single-handedly named all the animals 
*He couldn't communicate well the command to Even that's why she was deceived.
*He couldn't hold himself back from falling into sin when Eve offered the fruit to him.
*He was quick to accuse God and his every companion of his sin
*For his sin, the earth was cursed
*He was the father of Cain, Abel, Seth and other children
*He lived 930 years

Apollos means "one who destroys or a destroyer". He was a New Testament figure who steadily grew to become a servant of Jesus through ministry. He was a staunch Jew.  Some Characteristics of Apollos: √ Apollos was endowed with great knowledge and was very outspoken. In his line of ministry, he exhibited understanding of the old canon and delivered its message boldly.  √ Despite Apollos's eloquence and knowledge, he was only vexed in the baptism of John without the knowledge that the prophecy about the Messiah had already been fulfilled. Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
