DEVOTION ~ AMAZED!

Text: Acts 9:21

21 Then all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?”


In yesterday's devotion, we learned that Saul preached in the synagogue about Christ. Today's text is about how shocked the congregants were that he preached concerning Christ. The works of the Holy Spirit always astonish us. For even the vilest sinner can be reformed easily by His touch. Do not give up praying for those who persecute the church for the Lord will soon do a great thing in their lives. Anyone who comes to Christ is a new creation the former life has been taken away through the Saviour's Blood for the new life in Christ, to manifest. Do not be amazed when the power of God transforms a person for with God all things are possible.


PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the grace of redemption in Christ Jesus. Blessed be Your name for the change of heart that You give to every sinner to receive Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit have Your way in my family, church, community and nation to lead those who have not fully accepted Christ to this amazing grace in the name of Jesus Christ have I prayed. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
