Text: Acts 9:32

32 Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.


Peter has been instrumental in the early church. He whom the Lord said satan has asked to sift him like wheat but He has prayed for the Father that Peter might be strengthened afterwards to also strengthen the other disciples. The Word of the Lord has been faithful and it came to pass as such. In today's text, we see how dedicated Peter is to the spread of the Gospel. He was willing to send Christ to every part of the country. 

This must be our attitude of sending Christ to all. We are empowered to preach Christ to the end of the earth. How well have you preached Christ in your vicinity? Don't leave any stone unturned when it comes to the Great Commission. A soul is waiting to be saved by your message. Avail yourself for God to use.


PRAYER: Thank you Lord for the grace of reaching out to others with Your Word. Empower us in the Holy Spirit not to be wearied in accomplishing the Great Commission. This is our prayer in Christ Jesus. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
