DEVOTION ~ INCREASE MORE FOR CHRIST

Theme: Increase More for Christ 
Text: Acts 9:22

22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.


There's no turning back when we come to Christ. Saul did not give a day's show but kept his faith in the Lord and he increased more in strength. This strength is an inner spiritual one that encourages him to keep moving irrespective of what people say or do around him. Dear beloved in the Lord, every child of God deserves to have this kind of strength. It comes alive if we keep proclaiming Christ to the world. If we divert people's attention from us to the Lord, we will increase in this strength but if we seek attention for ourselves, we will come to nothing. 


PRAYER: Abba! Father, thank You for the grace of Your strength in me through Christ Jesus. I seek more of You and less of me in all that I do. Help me to preach the Gospel through the lens of the Holy Spirit and not through my carnal lens in the name of Jesus Christ have I prayed. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
