DEVOTION ~ TABITHA!

Text: Acts 9:36

36 At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated as Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did. 


It is expected of every Christian whether male or female to possess the attitude of Tabitha. She is a disciple of the Lord and showed love toward all. She was full of good works and charitable deeds. What can be said of you amongst the brethren? Do you have a good report or not? Constant evaluation of your life to the Word of God helps to shape your life from the perspective of the Word. You can be a Tabitha in your family, congregation, community, workplace and anywhere you find yourself. Let the Tabitha in you come alive. 


PRAYER: Thank You Lord for using Tabitha to teach me to bring my good works and charitable deeds alive. Guide me Holy Spirit and equip me for every good work in Christ Jesus. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
