DEVOTION ~ THE FRUIT OF YOUR MOUTH

Theme: The Fruit of Your Mouth
Text: Proverbs 13:2

2 A man shall eat well by the fruit of his mouth, but the soul of the unfaithful feeds on violence.


The fruit of our mouth is the result of our actions. What we say or/and do has a lasting impact on our lives. We ought to discipline ourselves to follow the dictates of our Lord Jesus Christ. If we speak peace and act on it, we will enjoy peace so is the reverse true to happen when we refuse to seek peace. An unfaithful person is always positioned on the defensive side to breathe violence when his/her evil deeds catch up with him/her. Doing everything possible to win does not necessarily mean you won if you use dubious means, the replication will soon locate you woefully. Do good so you can enjoy the fruit of your mouth. 



PRAYER: Thank You, Lord, for You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek and please You. Lead me to the path of righteousness so that I may not walk the path of violence and unfaithfulness. Blessed be Your Name for honouring Your Word in my life. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
