DEVOTION ~ GUARD YOUR MOUTH

Theme: Guard Your Mouth
Text: Proverbs 13:3

He who guards his mouth preserves his life, but he who opens wide his lips shall have destruction.

In yesterday's devotion, we learned the fruit of our mouths is the result of what we say or/and do. Today's text is enlightening us to guard our mouths. The ability to be mindful of what comes out of your mouth makes you able to rule over your entire being. A loose talker will be ruined by his own words. His words shall ensnare him and destroy him completely. Most often, attention seekers always want to utter words to draw people to listen without weighing what comes out of their mouths. Dear beloved in the Lord, you can preserve your life and soar higher if you can bridle your tongue. Listen more, speak less and be slow to anger then you can conquer the world.

PRAYER: Dear God, let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight. This I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
