DEVOTION ~ TABITHA, ARISE!

Theme: Tabitha, Arise!
Text: Acts 9:40&41

40 But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. 41 Then he gave her his hand and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

Having heard the lament of the widows, apostle Peter put them all out and did what was right. He went before the Lord in humility, knelt and prayed. He first faced the Lord before facing the dead body. We must learn to seek the Lord's face before facing any issue of life. Because Peter has encountered the Lord, he only gave a command to the dead body, "Tabitha, arise". Immediately she opened her eyes and sat up. We equally have this grace to command for it to be established. Peter presented Dorcas alive likewise can we also present dead situations with the fullness of life in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for the power of Your presence with us that makes it possible for us to triumph in all challenges. Grant us the courage to keep the faith and to command to be for with You all things are possible. In the Name of Jesus Christ have we asked. AMEN!
