DEVOTION ~ WHO ARE YOU?

Theme: Who Are You?
Text: John 8:25-27

25 Then they said to Him, “Who are You?” And Jesus said to them, “Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning. 26 I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.” 27 They did not understand that He spoke to them of the Father.

Often when we meet people who ain't familiar to us, we ask who they are and they ask us the same in return. Knowing who someone is, helps to establish a mutual relationship. Even though Jesus has been engaging His audience about who He is, they still cannot figure out who He is. If we do not build a healthy relationship with the Lord, it will be difficult for us to understand His way. However, when we engage in fellowship with the Lord, we get divine insight into the things of the Lord. That also helps us to know our true identity in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for revealing Yourself to me. Help me to build a lasting relationship with You. May I receive utterance to tell others my identity in Christ Jesus. This I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
