DEVOTION ~ BUILD CONFIDENCE

 Theme: Build Confidence

Text: 2 Corinthians 7:4

4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I am exceedingly joyful in all our tribulations.

In yesterday's devotion, we learned that the Apostle Paul loves the Corinthians and is ready to die and live together with them. His relationship with the Corinthians is established on the grounds of trust. We also need to trust other believers, especially the infant Christians. If we trust them, we will develop confidence in them which will stir up zeal in us to do more with them in the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Most of us often give up on our discipleship or apostleship because nothing seems to encourage us to push further. We need to look out for the little things they do right and praise them for it. As we do this we build confidence not only in them but also in ourselves a driving tool to be encouraged to do more even when we are surrounded by troubles.

PRAYER: Almighty God, help me to trust Your promptings and lead in the spirit to the things I must identify in the furtherance of the gospel in the lives of those that I disciple. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
