Text: 2Corinthians 7:13

13 Therefore we have been comforted in your comfort. And we rejoiced exceedingly more for the joy of Titus because his spirit has been refreshed by you all. 



The epistle of Apostle Paul to the Corinthians is full of lessons and today's text highlights their comfort, joy, and spiritual refreshment with the Corinthians. Amazingly, the Apostle Paul's comfort and joy came from the report he received from Titus about the Corinthians. Dear beloved in the Lord, we must live worthy of our calling in order to be an encouragement to others in the faith. How we welcome others either in our homes, the church (service), community, or wherever we gather is essential to refresh a soul. If the church in Corinth had ill-treated Titus, he would never have been at ease to stay with them. However, because they welcomed him and lived with him more than he expected, he was refreshed. When last have you asked about the well-being of the soul that visited during service? Do you care to follow up on the sick or those who have backslid? Your actions to go the extra mile to ensure souls are at ease and cheerful to join the fellowship is what will refresh them spiritually. Why not start today?



PRAYER: Dear God, make me a useful vessel in Your Kingdom's advancement. Just as the church in Corinth refreshed Titus and brought comfort and joy to Apostle Paul, may I also be a vessel of comfort, joy, and refreshment to anyone who encounters me. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
