COMMAND YOUR WEEK

Some people are not ready to see us move on to the next level of our lives as was the case of the enemies in the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. Ezra 5:5 states "But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, so that they could not make them cease till a report could go to Darius. Then a written answer was returned concerning this matter" The response the wicked were anticipating to hear turned out otherwise. It is stated in Ezra 6:7&8 that King Darius commanded the enemies saying, "Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God on its site. Moreover, I issue a decree as to what you shall do for the elders of these Jews, for the building of this house of God: Let the cost be paid at the king’s expense from taxes on the region beyond the River; this is to be given immediately to these men so that they are not hindered.


Declare, "In the Name of Jesus, God is watching over my family and me, therefore, no one can prevent us from building our lives because our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Any evil decree, orchestrations, or satanic pronouncements against our destinies have been annulled by the Blood of the Lamb of God. We receive favorable answers from the Lord on all sides as helpers act accordingly on the command of the Lord to assist us. This week and beyond whatever is due us we receive immediately so that we are not hindered in giving God thanks. This is settled and established in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!"

Apollos means "one who destroys or a destroyer". He was a New Testament figure who steadily grew to become a servant of Jesus through ministry. DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
