Theme: The Hour Has Come

Text: John 17:1

17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You


There is a season for everything under the sun and we must be careful not to miss the time or season of the Lord for our lives. As Jesus draws near to His major task of taking away the sins of the world on the cross He set out to pray for Himself, His disciples, and all believers. In the text for consideration, He began to pray for Himself and He stated, "Father, the hour has come". Dear beloved the hour of His glorification was not hidden from Him. Likewise, Jesus cannot forget us when the time to glorify us is due. In this year 2024, to understand or know if the hour has come, you need Jesus. He hold the seasons and times in His Hands. He as well decides what should or not happen. 


PRAYER: Father in heaven, I lift up my eyes to You and trust that my hour shall not pass me by. Lord glorify Yourself in me in every area of my life that honour will be given to Your Majestic Name. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
