DEVOTION ~ THE FULFILLMENT OF GOD'S PROMISES
Theme: The Fulfillment of God's Promises
Text: Acts 3:17&18
17 “Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers. 18 But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled.
In yesterday's devotion, we learned that in Christ we will have perfect soundness if we have faith in Him and His Name. Today's text delves into the fulfilled promise of God in the life of Jesus Christ. At the time of His suffering, the accusers of Jesus Christ acted ignorantly (not knowing they were fulfilling scripture) when they handed Him over to be crucified. If you are in Christ then understand that, when the wicked rise against you with the intent to harm you, the evil they have schemed shall turn out for your good. Whatever God has said concerning your life shall not fail no matter the devises of your adversaries to frustrate it. There is hope for a better tomorrow if you remain faithful to God through your adversities. God will never fail to keep to the fulfillment of His promises in your life.
PRAYER: Almighty God, thank You for keeping Your Word true and alive through Christ Jesus. Help me to hold on to Your promises for my life even when I'm overwhelmed by life's challenges so that Your glory will perfect every area of my life. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
