DEVOTION ~ PERFECT SOUNDNESS

Theme: Perfect Soundness

Text: Acts 3:16

16 And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.



Our previous devotions have been on the lame man healed at the Beautiful Gate of which Peter now justifies the source of power for the healing. Today's devotion elaborates on what we shall obtain in Christ if we put our faith in Him. The Name of Jesus our Lord, is a strong tower the righteous ran into and are saved. Anyone who has faith in Christ must first understand the efficacy of the Name. This faith does the supernatural in our lives by transforming us from nothingness to greatness. There is perfect soundness in the Name of Jesus Christ. Soundness is a state of being in good condition. Therefore, to have perfect soundness implies a state of being in good condition overflowing with peace of mind devoid of any setback or limitation. Nothing could hinder the miraculous healing of the lame man due to the Name of Jesus and the faith employed in His Name. Your life, health, marriage, children, family, education or academics, businesses, career, investment, and projects amongst other things shall be in perfect soundness if you have faith in the Lord and His Majestic Name. I decree in the Name of Jesus Christ there shall be performance in your life and it shall be in perfect soundness. 


PRAYER: Almighty God, I desire perfect soundness in every area of my life. I have faith in You and Your Mighty Name that all areas of my life receive the touch of Your perfect soundness. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
