Theme: Restoration of All Things

Text: Acts 3:20&21

 20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began. 


In yesterday's devotion, we learned that if we repent and come to penitence, we shall enjoy the times of refreshing in the presence of the Lord. Today's devotion will look at the restoration of all things in Christ Jesus. If we repent, then we need to welcome Jesus into our lives for it is only in Him we can have a place in the presence of God. Jesus has ascended into heaven and will return to restore this broken evil world to its original glory as stated in scripture. However, His presence in Your life can give you a foretaste of what is to come. You can only know the worth of life if you know Jesus and you have no life if you do not have Jesus. Therefore, the restoration of your life, marriage, health, children, career, educational excellence, and other spheres of your life is dependent on Jesus Christ. Jesus holds the key to your glory and in Him alone can you be glorified so look to Him and hearken to His voice every step of the way. All that seems broken and lost shall be restored to you wholly in Christ Jesus.


PRAYER: Thank You Lord for passing this earth for my redemption and restoration. As You are seated with God in heaven awaiting the Day of the Lord, please restore my broken life to the whole. Touch me and let Your mark of glory and restoration be evident in every area of my life. This I ask with thanksgiving in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
