Theme: Sent to Bless You

Text: Acts 3:26

26 To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.”


In the previous devotion, we learned that we are children of the covenant in Christ Jesus. The text for today throws light on the essence of the resurrection of our Saviour. God did not allow the body of Jesus to decay or see corruption in the grave because of us. He gave Him the power to resurrect so that we can receive the blessing of God where our sins are pardoned. Sin has been a barrier to accessing the blessing of God and anyone who desires to be blessed must first seek forgiveness by the blood of bulls. However, our Great High Priest Jesus Christ, has laid His life for us so that we may easily access this blessing when we confess our sins. The Lord gives wealth and adds no sorrow so, if you want blessings of any kind, turn to God and He shall bless you beyond measure. All your blessings are in Christ Jesus therefore, welcome Him into your life, heart, mind, and home. 


PRAYER: I am grateful Almighty God that You have sent Jesus to deliver my blessings in all areas of my life. I pray and confess my sins that I have committed willfully, presumptuously, and secretly. Have mercy upon me and save me. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
