Theme: Your Life Shall Marvel Many

Text: Acts 3:11&12

11 Now as the lame man who was healed held on to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed. 12 So when Peter saw it, he responded to the people: “Men of Israel, why do you marvel at this? Or why look so intently at us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?


In previous devotion, we learned a man was healed at the Beautiful Gate to the temple. The text for today is what transpired when people saw what happened. It has been stated that all the people ran together to them in the porch which is called Solomon’s, greatly amazed. The Hand of God always produces results that marvel people and no one has ever been able to fathom His marvelous works in the lives of His beloved children. Dear beloved in the Lord, unlike most workers of miracles in our dispensation who want to claim a miracle in their name, Peter and John did otherwise. Peter channeled the miracle performed to Christ not their own power or godliness. If you learn to give God His glory, He will perform great and marvelous things in your life. Your life, family, marriage, children, health, finances, career, businesses, and all that concerns you shall marvel people because, although you have all set out to do the same thing, there is a clear distinction between your result and theirs for you have done many exploits. Always acknowledge the power of God in all things and you shall be sign and wonder to anyone who comes your way. Received the glorious life in Christ that produces marvelous results.


PRAYER: Not unto us o Lord, but unto You alone be honor and adoration for the marvelous things we experience daily in our lives. It is not by our power or godliness but rather Your grace has sustained and kept us under Your divine miracles. We decree we are clothed with abundant miracles. This we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
