Theme: Born of God

Text: 1 John 3:9

9 Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.


To be born of God is to confess Jesus as Lord and personal Savior and to accept His will for your life. Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Therefore, if we become born of God, sin has no hold on us for we possess the righteousness of Christ not of works but of grace. The seed of righteousness in Christ automatically sprouts in us and guides us to the path of truth and holiness because we have surrendered our will to His. Evaluate your ways and assess whether it conforms to the will of God or the flesh. 


Let us Pray: Almighty God, I am grateful through Christ I am born of God. I commit my ways to You and seek that I shall abide in the righteousness of Christ so that I may never walk in sin. May the seed of righteousness sprout in my thoughts, words, and actions. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
