DEVOTION ~ YOUR ADDRESS SHALL CHANGE
Theme: Your Address Shall Change
Text: Matthew 28:5&6
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
In the past few days, our focus has been on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The text for today is on an angel communicating to the women who came to the tomb what had happened to the Messiah. Yesterday's devotion highlights that the appearance of the angel scared even the guard so it will not be surprising the women could have also felt the same but were encouraged by the angel not to be afraid. They were told Jesus had risen and was not where He was lay which is proof of His resurrection. Dear beloved in the Lord, understanding the power of the resurrection aids us in employing it in our own circumstances when it seems the circumstance is beyond human reach. Whatever your challenge is, understand that when God sends your guardian angel, he will announce your change of address. Where people despise you, note God is turning things around for your good. Stop murmuring or complaining about the situation and rather seek God's guidance on how to develop ideas to break through. May God intervene in your circumstance and divinely strategically position you for His glory.
Let us Pray: Thank You God for making available the proof of the resurrection. I decree the power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in my life transforming and repositioning me at a place of honor. Where I was seen as nothing, by divine change of address, I am being honored to the glory of God. This I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
