DEVOTION ~ DIVINE COMMUNION
Theme: Divine Communion
Text: Acts 10:40&41
40 Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, 41 not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.
A good fellowship with the Lord requires a mutual relationship with Him where we freely share our feelings and thoughts with the Lord. The resurrected Christ was encountered by those who had been chosen beforehand by God. These are individuals who had a good standing with the Lord by living according to His will and purpose for their lives. The apostle Peter reiterated that they encountered the risen Christ with an opportunity to dine with Him. We dine with the Lord anytime we partake of the Eucharist, therefore, we must approach the table with reverence. A divine communion with the Lord has a positive impact on our lives and transforms our spiritual perspective as evident in the life of the apostle Peter.
Let us Pray: Almighty God, thank You for the power of the resurrection in Christ Jesus. May Your Spirit equip me to encounter Christ daily. Come Lord and dine with me. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
Amen.
