Theme: Continue to Believe

Text: 1 John 5:13

13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.


In yesterday’s devotion, we learned that anyone who knows Jesus knows life, and no Jesus, no life. The text for today is the apostle's word of encouragement to those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to keep believing in Him. Dear beloved in the Lord, you have the fullness of life as the Son has come that we may have life and have it in full. By believing in Him, nothing can usurp this life in you because the Lord Himself has freely given it to you. With Jesus, you can sail through any storm and emerge victorious. 


Let us Pray: Heavenly Father, I believe in Your Son as my Saviour and Redeemer. I pray nothing shall distract my focus from this truth and may Your Holy Spirit fan aflame the gift of life in me so that I may glorify You daily. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

COMMAND YOUR WEEK

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
