Theme: You Will Never Go Hungry

Text: Proverbs 10:3

3 The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish, but He casts away the desire of the wicked.


In yesterday's devotion, we learned that the righteousness of Christ will deliver us from death. In the text for today, this same righteousness can also deliver us from hunger. Hunger is the distress associated with a lack of food. We become hungry if we show or feel the need for food. Aside from the basic necessity to eat, we also have other means of hunger which is the needs of our lives. Dear beloved in the Lord, if you are in Christ, then He shall Shepherd you and you shall lack no good thing in life. The Lord will not allow the righteous soul to famish for food, clothing, shelter, marriage, conception, educational success, career promotions, or business advancement and successes amongst others. Whatever you desire is your hunger, do not allow the deceitful words of the accuser to prevail but rather open your mouth and confess you shall lack no good thing in life. Those who shall lack in life are the wicked because God will cast away their desire. Christ in you is the hope of glory so your expectations shall be met accordingly.


Let us Pray: Dear God, it is written, You will not let the godly go hungry but You refuse to satisfy the craving of the wicked. I pray on this scripture asking for help and satisfaction in my health, marriage, family, finances, career, business, projects, and all spheres of my life. I decree by the power of the Holy Spirit, may the evil cravings of the wicked against me and my loved ones be truncated in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

DEVOTION ~ JUDGING RIGHTEOUSLY

Theme: Judging Righteously Text: Genesis 38:26 26 So Judah acknowledged them and said, “She has been more righteous than I because I did not give her to Shelah my son.” And he never knew her again. Previous devotion taught us that Tamar sent the pledge Judah gave her to him to identify the owner. Upon receiving the items Judah acknowledged his wrong. Judah did not allow pride or ego to cloud his judgment but rather pointed to the role he played in leading Tamar to take such a drastic step to get pregnant. Dear beloved in the Lord, don't be quick to point people's wrong without considering yours. Let us learn from Judah to never push blame to others if we are guilty. Let us Pray: Almighty God, forgive me for employing the full rigour of the law on defaulters but failing to in my own case. Grant me sound judgment to act righteously. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
