Theme: Prolonged Life

Text: Proverbs 10:27

27 The fear of the Lord prolongs days, but the years of the wicked will be shortened.


God is the giver of life and takes it at any time He deems fit to do so. His joy is seeing His beloved children enjoy prolonged days on the earth in victory and taking dominion over the earth. However, He is not pleased with wickedness, therefore the lives of the wicked are shortened. As it is written, the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Over the years, I've understood that God is more interested in our salvation than what we can offer Him. I take this clue from Luke 15:7 Thus, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one especially wicked person who repents (changes his mind, abhorring his errors and misdeeds, and determines to enter upon a better course of life) than over ninety-nine righteous persons who have no need of repentance. Do you desire a prolonged life? Then fear the Lord.


Let us pray: Lord, grant me the spirit to fear You and to flee from the paths of the wicked. I ask for a prolonged life in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

What inhibits you determines what comes out of you. The two elements are light and darkness. The light within produces good, whereas darkness is evil. It is recorded in  Ephesians 5:8-9 For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good, right, and true.  Declare, "In the Name of Jesus Christ, I no longer walk in darkness but rather in light. Therefore, every product of darkness within and around me is extinct. I decree that my family and I live in light, and we enjoy what the light produces in fullness. Our deeds are good, right, and true. AMEN!"
