Theme: Bloodthirsty Men
Text: Psalms 139:19&20
19 Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God! Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men. 20 For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain.



Today marks Christmas on the Christian calendar and many will celebrate the day in honour of the Lord. As we honour the birth of the Lord, let us amend our ways to please the Lord. At the beginning of this chapter, the psalmist declared the Lord's omnipresence, omniscient, and omnipotent glory. However, in the text for today, he switches from reverence of God's nature to demand his punishment over the wicked. Let not your ways contradict the Lord's and ensure not to speak blasphemously against the Lord. Anyone who contradicts God's purpose will fall in line with bloodthirsty men. The consequences of opposing God are so great to dare to. As we celebrate Christmas, let us approach God in penitence. It's not too late to end the year in purity. 



Let us Pray: Almighty God, let the purified Blood of Your Lamb cleanse me from wickedness. May my ways please You. I pray the wicked come to know You and they be transformed and renewed in Christ. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
