Text: 2 Timothy 2:25
25 In humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth



In yesterday's devotion, we learned that we ought to present ourselves gently in all things. The text for today speaks to us on how to correct those who have denied the truth. If we are arrogant or mean towards unbelievers, then there's nothing to preach to them as the Gospel admonishes us to love as Christ loved us so that we can be identified as His followers. Those who have not accepted the truth live their lives contrary to the Word. It is our behaviour that will ignite the nudging in them to embrace the truth. The Holy Spirit will also work through them for God to grant them repentance (a change of heart and mind) to walk in the knowledge of truth. 



Let us Pray: Almighty God, please fill me with humility. Help me to correct others with this humility that I may draw damned souls to Your glory. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

Do you feel you're forgotten, rejected or insecure? Dear beloved in the Lord, you're not forgotten, for God has engraved your name in His palms. Isaiah 49:16 See, "I have engraved you on the Palms of My Hands: Your walls are ever before Me". If God has engraved your name in His palms, it means He always sees or watches over you. Rise up and shake the fear and doubts off.  Declare, "I am not forgotten or alone. The LORD has engraved me in His Palms. Therefore, His eyes are fixed on me, and He protects me from the wicked. I decree all that I have is secured in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
