DEVOTION ~ GOD'S HAND SHALL LEAD YOU

Theme: God's Hand Shall Lead You
Text: Psalms 139:9&10

9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 Even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.

In yesterday's devotion we learned that God is omnipresent and so we cannot hide or flee from His presence. Today's text is a continuation of the presence of God. The psalmist states that, even if he takes the wings of the morning to dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there God shall lead him. When we think of fleeing the presence of God, that's when He protects us the more. If the path we have taken is destructive, God ensures He holds us out of it. Jesus has demonstrated this through His death and resurrection so that we can have eternal life in Him. Dear beloved in the Lord, I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38&39).

Let us Pray: Almighty God, thank You for reaching out to me and leading me by Your Right Hand. I commit my life to You and I ask that my life shall reflect Yours. This I ask in the Name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
